Via Alpina

Ribolla Gialla

Reg. $21.99 15% Off $18.69

Via Alpina is the second label of Venica & Venica, one of the premier winemakers in Collio. Ribolla Gialla is an indigenous grape to Friuli and you will see many different styles of Ribolla from northern Italy, Slovenia and more. Via Alpina’s style is just like their other wines; fresh acidity, pronounced minerality and a incredible example of the grape.

Ioppa

Nebbiolo Rosato

Reg. $19.99 15% Off $16.99

Ioppa comes from the Ghemma DOCG in Northern Piedmont where the soils are comprised of granite, quartz and iron. While they are known for their red expressions of Nebbiolo, this may become your go to rosé. It is 100% Nebbiolo and is done entirely in stainless steel so it is light, bright and fresh.

Piazzano

Chianti

Reg. $16.99 15% Off $14.44

Are we allowed to do an Italian tasting without a classic Chianti? I didn’t think we could get away with it this time. Piazzano Chianti is a blend of 80% Sangiovese with the remaining 20% being Canaiolo, Colorino and other grapes from the estate. How Italian.

Passopisciaro

Scinniri

Reg. $24.99 Sale $18.99

This wine is a blend Nerello Mascalese, Petit Verdot and Cesanese d’Affile for a super tiny production of about 5,000 bottles a year. Fermentation is in stainless and the wine spends 10 months of large oak barrels. The finished wine is darker than a lot of Etna wines with an unmistakable smoky earthiness. Dark fruits, black cherry, tea and dried herbs balance out the tannin and acidity on this incredibly unique gem from high elevation Etna.
