This week for our tasting we have Kelcey with S&M Selections pouring four wines from Portland Wine Company from Oregon. Portland Wine Company was founded in 2007 by husband and wife team Matt and Angela and although they don’t own any vineyards they have long standing relationships for fruit all over the valley. They make many different wines but we have picked a delicious white blend, tasty rosé and two crowd friendly reds. Stop in from 4pm to 7pm and find your favorite!
Cheers,
Sarah
Mother Shucker
White Blend
Reg. $20.99 15% Off $17.84
The Mother Shucker White Blend is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and Pinot Gris and is inspired by oysters of course and dedicated to the Pacific Walrus. The finished wine is surprisingly weighty and slightly briny with notes of under ripe stone fruits, melon, pear and citrus zest.
Garageland
Pinot Noir Rosé
Reg. $21.99 15% Off $18.69
The rosé is 100% Pinot Noir from three separate vineyards in the Willamette Valley and this is definitely a food rosé. It has just the right amount of umami notes amongst the bright cherry, raspberry and acidity.
Garageland
Pinot Noir
Reg. $25.99 15% Off $22.09
Garageland Pinot Noir is sourced from all over the valley to get a good smattering of soil types and climates. The wine only sees neutral French oak so you can enjoy the purity of the fruit.
Marty
Red Blend
Reg. $20.99 15% Off $17.84
While Oregon is known for Pinot Noir, the Rogue Valley in southern Oregon is warm enough for Bordeaux varietals. Marty is a gregarious blend of 56% Cabernet Franc, 33% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Malbec.
