This week our Classic rep Anthony is back and he will be challenging your assumptions about Australian wine. Thankfully Australia has put their “critter wine” days behind them and are back to making balanced, serious wines. Anthony will be pouring four wines from Yalumba, a family run winery with a woman winemaker. Stop in and find your favorite from 4-7pm!

Cheers,

Yalumaba Y Series

Sauvignon Blanc

Reg. $10.99 15% Off $9.34

The Sauvignon Blanc is more ripe and tropical than New Zealand styles with notes of lemon zest, fresh hay, passion fruit and white flowers.

Yalumba Y Series

Unwooded Chardonnay

Reg. $10.99 15% Off $9.34

This Chardonnay has good texture and notes of golden apple, papaya and lemon zest with crisp acidity and no butteriness.

Yalumba Y Series

Cabernet Sauvignon

Reg. $10.99 15% Off $9.34

I love that this wine is all stainless steel aging, it’s hard to find Cab without oak! The fruit comes through beautifully with notes of plum, black currant and balanced acidity.

Shiraz/Viognier Blend

Reg. $10.99 15% Off $9.34

This may seem like a weird blend but it is pretty common in France. This wine is just 3% Viognier blended with the Shiraz to bring out the aromatics of black peppers, fresh raspberries and herbs.
